There is nothing to sign up for. Install the plugin and it starts working — your site is provisioned automatically the first time it contacts the relay.
50 images free, permanently. No account, no card.In WordPress go to Plugins → Add New → Upload Plugin, choose the file you just downloaded, and activate it.
On activation the plugin contacts the relay, which provisions your site automatically — no form, no email confirmation, no key to paste. It immediately starts finding remote images in your featured images, WooCommerce galleries and post content.
Open a post with a remote featured image and view the page source. The image URL should now point at the relay rather than at the merchant.
From then on the plugin keeps itself up to date from inside WordPress, the same as any plugin from the directory — update notices, one-click updates and the auto-updates toggle all work.
Not a trial. It does not expire, and there is no card on file to forget about.
This is what puts your images on your own hostname and removes the corner note. Do it straight after buying — and on day one if you are on the 3-day trial, since the note stays until your own domain is live.

CNAME img.yourdomain.com → img.youcansecureit.comStep-by-step instructions for thirty registrars — GoDaddy, Namecheap, Spaceship, Cloudflare, 123 Reg, Fasthosts and more — if you would rather not hunt for the DNS editor yourself.
Then enter img.yourdomain.com in Settings → Image Relay. The relay
verifies the DNS, provisions the hostname and issues an SSL certificate for it automatically.
Usually live within about fifteen minutes — and from then on your images come from your own
hostname with descriptive filenames, rather than from a merchant's CDN.
Until your own domain is live, the corner note stays. A licence removes it on your image domain — images still coming from our shared domain keep the note, licensed or not. It is a two-minute change, but it is a step, and we would rather say so here than have you buy and wonder why nothing looks different.
img. on your own site's domain — a deliberate
anti-abuse rule, so every image on a custom domain is traceable to the site that registered
it.Premium can route the images already in your media library through the relay too — WebP, on-the-fly resizing, disk caching, and that traffic served off your hosting instead of out of your hosting plan. Turn it on in Settings → Image Relay. Your files stay exactly where they are; only delivery changes.
Any site can use the relay. Drop relay-client.php into your project and sign your
image URLs with the site key and secret the relay issued you:
$relay = new RelayClient('https://img.youcansecureit.com', 'SITE_KEY', 'SECRET');
echo '<img src="' . $relay->url($remote, ['w' => 600, 'f' => 'auto'], 'seo-name') . '">';In any other language it is a few lines: build
/{site_key}/{sig}/{params}/{b64url}/{seo-name}.webp, where sig is the
first 16 hex characters of HMAC-SHA256("{params}:{source_url}", secret) and
b64url is base64 of the source URL with +/ replaced by -_ and
the padding stripped.
